Design guidance

Precast drainage solutions are designed and manufactured in accordance with a number of European and British standards:  

• Concrete pipe and manhole systems are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 1916 (pipes) and BS EN 1917. These two standards are complemented by BS 5911-1 and BS 5911-3. 
• Box culverts, modular tanks and other underground structures are manufactured to BS EN 14844 and BS EN 13369. 
• Pipeline systems structural design is carried out to in accordance with BS 9295 and BS EN 1295. 
• Box culvert and modular tank systems structural design is carried out in accordance with Eurocodes.
