The discussion rolled on to tackling the environmental impact of drainage works. Measuring carbon, Environmental Product Declarations (EPD’s), Life-cycle analysis and greenwashing are all looked at by the panel.
In tackling complex issues such as climate change and resilience in the built environment, having accurate data and research to compliment it is paramount. Panellists looked at common problems, such as validity of data, and how current and proposed research could come to bear on decision making.
