Construction Industry Golf Day 2019: In Review

Yesterday, British Precast returned to The Belfry for our Construction Industry Golf Day - and, despite the threat of rain, our members and their guests had a brilliant time playing!

Organised in support of CRASH, a unique, practical charity that assists homelessness and hospice charities with construction-related projects, creating places that care for people, the Golf Day offered a chance for our members to bring along guests, entertain their clients and find out more about British Precast.

We can confirm our Construction Industry Golf Day raised £750 in aid of CRASH.

This year also saw the welcome return of the fantastic David Edwards. Regaling us with stories of his career and exploring his wealth of golfing experience, David brought back his hilarious Trick Golf Show - to rounds of applause and laughter from guests and members of the British Precast team alike.

Scoring the Stableford format, individual and team scores were counted as well as the traditional longest drive and nearest the pin.

The Best Team Winners were: FP McCann Team 1 - Kieran Fields, Steve Miller, Joe McDermott and John Hockley

Thank you to our members for inviting clients to share the day with British Precast. We would also like to thank The Belfry team who assisted across the running of the event, David Edwards for keeping us entertained long into the evening, Marshalls CPM for supplying our golf balls, and everybody that made the Construction Industry Golf Day one of our best yet!
