British Precast Waste Guidance

British Precast published two new members’ guidance documents on the management of waste at precast factories. The ‘Guidance on precast factory waste management and legislation’ offers a brief description of different regulations and requirements related to waste and packaging and the main obligations associated with waste generation in precast concrete factories. The ‘Storage and processing of concrete waste in precast factories’ guidance offers general advice on measures needed to store and manage concrete waste stocks on site. Both documents are made available to members of British Precast and will be uploaded to the British Precast website members’ area when it is launched later this year.

A third member guidance document, on emergency and contingency planning and preparedness, will be published later this year.
